Last night I was sure I knew what today held — a much needed day of relaxing. Video games, reading, and chores (ha ha) were top priorities.
Then I woke up with an unshakeable urge to work on the film. My brain won’t shut up about everything. We’re close to clearing a couple major hurdles. Momentum is starting build to our benefit. It looks like the timing is right, which is absolutely necessary because we’re now working within a very tight timeline for production.
Could I put this stuff off for tomorrow or Monday and take my day of rest anyway? Sure. But I keep thinking of what Galadriel says to the fellowship when they arrive in Lothlórien.
“Your quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while all the Company is true.”
So here I am. Expanding our marketing plan on a Saturday morning.
I think it’s time for second cup of tea…
