Road trip to NorCal

The first outing I took my Canon on was a road trip to Northern California at the end of January. For a trip that really only qualified as a long weekend, my friend and I managed a good variety of photo ops. We got on the road a couple hours later than originally intended, which meant we started the trip creeping through Los Angeles. The upside of traffic? Therapy in creativity

Today I realized that I made a big business mistake — well, at least it seems big. The exact size is still TBD. Actually, running that website created opportunities for a lot of firsts. My first press pass. Beating all the soccer news outlets with the news that the team had signed Julie Fleeting. First time on the radio. First time learning MovableType and basic PHP. The most embarrassing penalty kick of my entire life…twelve years later and that one still causes a wince in remembrance. So many memories. So many beginnings.
