An unexpectedly free Saturday

Last night I was sure I knew what today held — a much needed day of relaxing. Video games, reading, and chores (ha ha) were top priorities. Then I woke up with an unshakeable urge to work on the film. My brain won’t shut up about everything. We’re close to clearing a couple major hurdles. Momentum is starting build to our benefit. It looks like the timing is right, which is absolutely necessary because we’re now working within a very tight timeline for production. Could I put this stuff off for tomorrow or Monday and take my day of rest anyway? Sure. But I keep thinking of what Galadriel says to the fellowship when they arrive in Lothlórien. “Your quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Home office hairstyle

Working from a home office usually leaves a lot of room for flexibility and a more comfortable work environment. Technically, you don’t even need to get dressed in the mornings — unless you have Skype call. Working from home also means I occasionally walk by the mirror and realize I’ve absentmindedly turned my hair into a crazy tangle that’s reminiscent of a faux hawk. Oops.
